Our Work in District of Columbia
Our Impact in Washington, DC
Trust for Public Land (TPL) helps design and organize public support for parks, climate, and land conservation in communities across the country and in our nation’s capital. Parks and protected natural areas continue to demonstrate their immense value for providing clean air, clean water, and wildlife habitat, helping to mitigate and make communities more resilient to a changing climate, and improving our physical and mental health. There’s so much power in asking citizens to support conservation, which is why TPL partners with Americans of all political stripes in communities large and small across the country to protect and expand their access to the outdoors.
Also serves: Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia
