In Tennessee and across the country, we’re working with communities and advocates to connect more people in more places to the outdoors.

Trust for Public Land is linking communities to nature and each other through innovative pathways and parks, like the CHATT trail project. Despite Chattanooga’s renaissance, the city’s historically underserved neighborhoods, which are often low-income and communities of color, still lack access to essential green space. We’re working to change that by partnering with residents and local leaders across South Chattanooga to create green spaces that reflect the needs of their communities—building a more connected and healthier future for all.
