The Trust for YOUR Land – share why nature matters to you

This week marks the launch of #OurLand—The Trust for Public Land's effort to inspire you to speak up for the parks, trails, and wild places you love. We created this campaign to remind everyone that public lands are our land, yours and mine, and that they're worth protecting—now and for generations to come.

Watch the video above for a behind-the-scenes look at the making of #OurLand, featuring Trust for Public Land President Will Rogers and Chief Philanthropy Officer Margie Kim. We hope it will rally you to stand up for the parks and green places that make your community a great place to live—and to tell the world, in your own words, why these lands are worth saving.

Want to join the movement and show your support for protecting #OurLand? Just visit tpl.org/ourland and create your #OurLand postcard to tell us why nature matters to you. Then share your postcard with your friends and social media networks.

We can't wait to hear YOUR story!

Urge Your Senators: Pass the Outdoors for All

One-third of Americans, including 28 million children, lack safe, easy access to a park within a 10-minute walk of home. Urge your senators to pass the Outdoors for All Act to create parks and enhance outdoor recreational opportunities before the congressional session ends!
