Celebrate the Conservation of Hudson Farm

Update: The celebration will be held in Hudson Farm’s field but please wear your boots! The weather looks lovely, but the field will be very soggy. Over the ankle boots are recommended.

Join The Trust for Public Land, Dartmouth College, National Park Service, White Mountain National Forest, Hanover Conservancy, Town of Hanover, and Appalachian Trail Conservancy to celebrate the protection of Hudson Farm in Hanover, NH. These 175 acres of forests and open fields will remain forever open for the benefit of local residents and the many hikers who access the Appalachian National Scenic Trail.

Invited honored guests include the New Hampshire Congressional Delegation.

The event will take place in the Hudson Farm’s large field, reached from the Town Highway 38 trailhead on Trescott Road opposite Partridge Road in Hanover, NH. The site is approximately 0.7 miles west of Etna Road and 2 miles east of the junction of Trescott, East Wheelock, and Grasse Roads.

Please park on Partridge Road at the direction of signage/attendants and then follow signs to the event site, which is a ten-minute walk up the Old Highway 38 trail through the Hudson Farm’s sloping hayfield. Please wear sturdy shoes or boots as portions of the trail are muddy. Carpooling is encouraged.

Please gather at the shuttle in the small parking lot opposite Partridge Road if you need assistance getting to the event site. A portable restroom will be stationed in the Old Town 38 trailhead parking lot.
