Chiricahua National Monument
The Chiricahua National Monument is known for its hiking trails and spectacular vertical rock formations. Sharp-eyed visitors may also spot a variety of species of wildlife in this diverse desert landscape.
The Trust for Public Land helped acquire an unprotected property near the park’s main entrance for the National Park Service, ensuring that development will not mar the natural beauty of this “wonderland of rocks.”
This project was made possible through support of the National Park Service, with funding from the Land and Water Conservation Fund.
