Mayes Landing

In 2001, The Trust for Public Land, Lake Champlain Land Trust, Burlington Bikeways, Winooski Valley Park District and City of Burlington celebrated the permanent protection of Mayes Landing on Lake Champlain as a community park. Located along the Winooski River where it flows into Lake Champlain, the 1-acre Mayes Landing park serves as a scenic resting spot along Burlington’s bike path before the path crosses over the Winooski River into Colchester. Today the property is owned and managed by the Winooski Valley Park District.
