Caroline O'Boyle
Caroline is our associate vice president, Illinois state director. She is a seasoned arts, parks, and open space professional dedicated to the city of Chicago and greater Illinois communities. Caroline has been working with the Chicago office for over 9 years, first as an arts and public programming consultant and then as the Chicago Program Director.
Prior to Trust for Public Land, Caroline worked for the Chicago Park District and City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events. In these roles, O’Boyle collaborated with numerous civic, not-for-profit and neighborhood organizations on a wide range of environmental, cultural, and educational programming and participated in dozens of park-building projects.
A lifelong Chicagoan, Caroline enjoys the city’s vibrant theater and music scenes. She currently serves as President of the Board of Free Street Theater and is studying songwriting at the Old Town School of Folk Music.
