Dale Watt
Dale is a GIS Project Manager with the Trust for Public Land, focusing on supporting the Climate Smart Cities program, the 10-minute-walk team, and a variety of other projects across the Land and People Lab’s work. Dale works with TPL partners to achieve useful analysis that informs park planning and decision-making, as well as helping build decision support tools for municipalities and non-profit partners. He has previous career experience in geospatial architecture on the cloud, wildlands conservation and scientific geospatial analysis, renewable energy siting, and spatial prioritization modeling. Dale graduated with a B.A. in Geography from Clark University in Worcester, MA and went on to receive an M.S. in GIS for Development and Environment, also from Clark University.
