Emily Sweitzer
Emily is the General Counsel for RangeWater Real Estate. In this role, she is responsible for all legal matters across the company. Emily is a member of RangeWater’s Investment Committee and sits on the Board of Directors of the RangeWater Impact Foundation.
Prior to joining RangeWater, Emily was Associate General Counsel at a national homebuilder, where she had legal responsibility for land and development transactions, including acquisitions, joint developments, project financings, and build-to-rent programs. She began her legal career in Atlanta where her practice focused on acquisitions, dispositions, development, debt financings, and joint ventures.
Emily received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton College and her Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University School of Law. She is a member of the Residential Neighborhood Development Council (RNDC-Gold) and Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) of Urban Land Institute. Emily is an active volunteer with the Trust for Public Land, Candler Park Conservancy, and Paideia School. She lives in Atlanta with her husband, Perry, and sons, Peter and Matthew.
