Jan Sullivan
Jan Naoe Sullivan is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Oceanit. She oversees Oceanit’s diverse span of operations that range from cutting-edge research and development in their high-tech labs in Honolulu, to scale-up manufacturing at their facilities in Houston and project execution in the Middle East, Europe, Asia and India. Jan is also the Managing Partner of T&S Properties, a family office real estate investment company. She oversees a portfolio of commercial real estate assets located in California, Colorado and Hawaii.
Previously, Jan was a practicing land use attorney, the first female Chief Planning Officer for the City & County of Honolulu, and the first woman to head the Department of Land Utilization as well as the Department of Planning and Permitting.
A proud product of public schools, Jan attended UH Lab School, the University of Colorado, and the William S. Richard School of Law.
Jan loves Hawaii and has always been dedicated to community service. She currently serves on the Oahu Economic Development Board, was a founding member of the Mutual Housing Association, and has chaired numerous boards such as the University of Hawaii Board of Regents, the Hawaii Community Development Authority, the Hawaii Nature Center, and served on the Girl Scouts of Hawaii, where she was honored as a STEM Woman of Distinction.
Jan enjoys surfing with her husband Patrick and their two grown kids and spouses, running on Kailua beach where she lives, and travelling to explore different parts of the world.
