Kevin Pearson
Kevin began his career at Georgia Power in 2005 as a Sr. Claims and Litigation Specialist in Risk Management. He has held the positions of Staff Attorney, Sr. Staff Attorney and Managing Attorney in Legal Services as well as Workplace Concerns Manager, Managing Attorney for Risk Management and Security Director before moving into his current role. As General Manager of the Georgia Power Land Department, Kevin leads a team of dedicated professionals responsible for optimizing the value of Georgia Power’s natural resource assets, supporting Georgia Power operations and its stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Prior to joining Georgia Power, Kevin practiced law at Ice Miller, an Indianapolis, Indiana law firm. He has earned a B.A. in History and earned his M.A. in Human Development at Boston College. He received his law degree from Boston College Law School in Newton, MA.
Kevin is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and Indiana, Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. Kevin serves on the Board of Directors of McCarthy Holdings Inc, as an Independent Director; Trust for Public Land (Georgia advisory board); and is also a member of the Boston College Board of Trustees.
