Rodger Krussman

Vice President, Director of Conservation

Rodger Krussman serves as TPL’s Director of Conservation where he oversees our land protection work across the country. Rodger is responsible for providing leadership, strategic guidance, portfolio management, best practices, training, organizational approval, and mentoring to TPL’s Field Programs, including over 50 land protection staff. As well, Rodger manages several external relationships with some of the country’s largest private landowners. Rodger brings over 30 years of conservation experience to this position, having previously worked to protect land in the Chesapeake Region and across New England, as well as overseeing TPL’s Vermont and New Hampshire Programs. Prior to joining TPL, Rodger worked for the US Forest Service in Central Idaho on land management and stewardship issues. Rodger holds a BA from University of Delaware and a Masters in Natural Resource Management from the University of New Hampshire.
