Hill Family Ranches
The Trust for Public Land and Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust have permanently protected over 5,000 acres of working ranch land, known as the Hill Family Ranches, in Saguache County, Colorado. This project ensures that the scenic foreground for the 25-mile Saguache Creek Corridor, including the Sangre de Cristo Wilderness, is preserved and buffered from development by permanently protected private land at a time of unprecedented development pressure on both land and water in the region.
