The Trust for Public Land is honored to be the recipient of memorial gifts in honor of John W. Baird, a committed philanthropist and civic leader in Chicago.
Gifts made in memory of John Baird will support The Baird Family Fund at The Trust for Public Land. Ongoing proceeds from the fund will support the Parks for People initiative to ensure that everyone has parks and other natural places within a 10-minute walk of home.

The Baird family has long been exemplary civic leaders committed to parks, urban spaces, and the outdoors-from cities to wilderness. This incredible dedication to urban and wild places led them to The Trust for Public Land. Three generations of the Bairds have graced the organization with their commitment and generosity and we are proud to honor John Baird by establishing The Baird Family Fund at The Trust for Public Land.
