Ohio Land Protection Fund

The Ohio Land Protection Fund is designed to protect important lands when urgent action is essential. The Fund allows The Trust for Public Land to buy land and hold it temporarily until a public steward is ready to purchase it for long-term management. The fund is replenished when TPL sells the land. The immediate availability of funding has helped to protect more than 2,200 acres in Ohio since the Fund was established in 2000. The Fund grows from private contributions. Every gift helps to make Ohio a great place to live, work and play.
