Stuart Margulies
Stuart is a Senior Managing Principal and head of asset management for the Lubert-Adler Partners. Lubert-Adler is a private equity fund manager that has raised over $7 billion of equity and invested in over $17 billion of real estate assets. He is responsible for the management and oversight of the firm’s existing investments and is also involved in the acquisition of assets in the hospitality and self-storage sectors. He is a member of the firm’s asset management, compliance and valuation committees.
Mr. Margulies has almost 30 years of experience in the real estate investment sector. Prior to joining Lubert-Adler, Mr. Margulies was Vice President, Special Assets Department, First Union National Bank, and Analyst with Transact Property Company and the Greenwood Group. Mr. Margulies holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Temple University and a B.A. in Economics from Franklin and Marshall College. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Philadelphia Real Estate Council. In addition to his work with The Trust for Public Land, Stuart sits on the Program Committee for JFRE, the Jewish Federation Real Estate group in Philadelphia.
