Mahaffie Farmstead
The Mahaffie Farmstead in Johnson County is the only known stagecoach stop along the Santa Fe National Historic Trail that is open to the public. Preservation of these rolling pastures and two small lakes close to the center of Olathe protected the historic farmstead from encroaching commercial development.
