Pond Brook
In 2010, The Trust for Public Land completed work to protect 293 acres known as Pond Brook, located at the headwaters of Tinkers Creek in the Cuyahoga River watershed. The conservation area’s pristine wetlands are a refuge for several rare, threatened, and endangered species of plants and animals-including the bald eagle.
Pond Brook is part of 3,200 acres of protected lands connecting three existing parks and preserves: Liberty Park, Tinkers Creek State Park and Nature Preserve, and the Aurora Nature Preserve.
