2020 Report
The Long Island Greenway—a nearly 200-mile extension to the Empire State Trail—will complete a truly statewide trail from Buffalo and Plattsburgh to Montauk.

2018 Feasibility Report
This project kicked off in 2018 with a feasibility study, determining if and how the greenway could come to life. A particular challenge was the first 25 miles of the trail, navigating the dense urban landscape of Long Island.
